Tell me more about the Custom Pet Portraits process!
Once you place an order for a custom pet portrait, I will reach out via the email provided at checkout. In this email I will ask for reference photos, the pets name, and other details about deadlines, gift-wrapping, and any customizations. Once I receive a quality reference photo I will begin the process of painting. I will send you updates as I go along and will send one final photo for approval before shipping to ensure that you love your painting!

Do you offer multiple sizes?
Yes! You can get a portrait in a 3-4” round ornament, 5”round wood panel, and I offer multiple sizes in a square. They range from 8” to 16”. If you don’t see a size you are looking for, feel free to use my contact form or email me at kayleighroseartwork@gmail.com to go over pricing!

Do you have requirements for reference photos?
Yes, but I promise it’s easy! After you place your order, you will receive a separate email asking for reference photos and more details about your pet. I include a pdf that describes what makes a good reference photo and how to get one if you don’t have one. The best photos are ones that are taken in bright natural light (not direct sunlight) and is a clear image of the face.

What is your shipping policy?
I currently only offer USPS shipping to US residents. Shipping information is collected at checkout.

What is your return policy?
I currently do not accept returns on any of my merchandise. Thank you for your understanding!

How do I prevent my ornament from splitting?
All of my wood ornaments are painted on pine slices. The wood has been sprayed with varnish to help protect against splitting, however, you still might experience cracks and splits. This occurs due to the wood shrinking and expanding. Try to keep your ornament in an environment that doesn’t experience drastic temperature or moisture changes. If your ornament cracks I do not offer refunds. Thanks for your understanding!
